Denny is asked to assist on an environmental case where the opposing counsel is his son. Alan leads on a sexual harassment case where his opposing counsel is Christine, his ex girlfriend who tried to kill him. And Sally is defending a man who says he didn't steal a woman's wallet.

While Paul, Brad, and Denny scramble to cover a class action case of Edwin's, Alan sues a doctor for malpractice on behalf of a hypochondriac and Lori takes another murder case to try and reengage with people.
