Jeffrey is sued by Lincoln Meyer over things Coho said about him during the Scott Little trial. Denny meets Bethany's mother.

While members of the firm believe Lincoln Meyer has kidnapped Shirley, they have a difficult time convincing the police. Erica Dolenz's murder trial begins, and Denny is jealous of the time Alan is spending with Jerry as a result.
