Larry Watt, a defense attorney who has caused trouble in Allison's past, asks Allison to be a consultant for him. Low on money, Allison accepts his offer. She later has a dream that his client murdered his wife.

Joe's mother pays a surprise visit, which worries Allison because she hasn't seen her since her psychic abilities became public knowledge. Meanwhile, Cynthia Keener tries to push Allison's dreams toward outstanding cases and Devalos and Scanlon are reunited with Allison in an unexpected way after an arson-related murder.
