Planning on writing an article about a famous actress, a cynical journalist is intrigued as to how she is able to stay so young. As their interview progresses, he soon discovers her secret includes an ancient Egyptian scarab and the help of not so willing strangers.

A dying man, not liked by his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren, invites them for a visit while hosting a Mardi Gras party.
