A self taught teenage computer whiz kid succeeds in hacking into K.I.T.T. and stealing it for his older lover Adrianne. Michael must regain the car with the help of K.I.T.T.'s CPU humiliatingly boxed in a portable TV set.

Michael is caught in an explosion and loses part of his memory. He wakes up thinking he's still police officer Michael Long.
