With Valentine's Day approaching, there's a growing effort to warn people about a devastating scam known as the "relationship investment scam." In 2023 alone, nearly a quarter of all Americans said they were duped by cyberscams totaling an estimated $159 billion. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission, which works to protect market users and the public from fraud, is joining forces with other agencies to alert people to scams. Melanie Devoe, the director of CFTC's Office of Customer Education and Outreach joins "CBS Mornings Plus." Last month, Demi Moore collected a Golden Globe for her performance in "The Substance." Now, she's getting buzz as the frontrunner for the Oscar. Moore looks back at her career journey as she speaks about what's behind her powerful performance and what the recognition means to her. The Trump administration's flurry of executive actions in his first few weeks have brought about sweeping changes and have also increased fears of a growing constitutional crisis. Frustration has grown inside the Trump administration over the speed of arrests and deportations of migrants. The White House says ICE has made 11,000 arrests in the last 18 days. During his inauguration, President Trump promised to deport "millions and millions." Patrick J. Lechleitner, who served as acting director of ICE under former President Joe Biden, joins "CBS Mornings Plus" to discuss the administration's expectations. Social media feeds can become a slippery slope from fandoms to cult-like groups or obsessions for some. Jennifer Mercieca, a communications professor at Texas A&M University, joins "CBS Mornings Plus" to explain red flags to watch out for. A Minnesota couple documents their triumphs and challenges, inspiring others with their love and resiliency after a near-fatal shooting in 2020. CBS News Minnesota's Reg Chapman has more. Actor Lucy Boynton talks about the true crime miniseries that she stars in, "A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story." The drama series is about Ruth Ellis, a nightclub manager in 1950s Britain. Ellis is convicted of shooting and killing her abusive boyfriend. As part of her sentence, she became the last woman to receive the death penalty in the U.K. Google Calendar will no longer mark cultural celebrations like Black History Month, Women's History Month and Holocaust Remembrance Month. Google says it removed the holidays last year when it "standardized" its calendars to only include public holidays and national observances. Several brands of canned tuna sold at stores like Trader Joe's, Publix and Costco have been voluntarily recalled due to a risk of botulism. No illnesses have been reported so far.
