The gang are left shaken after Alfie's near miss and Fabian recruits Joy as strategist - they've got to win this game somehow. Nina learns that every chosen one has a special champion to protect her. Trudy calls a doctor to help her get her memory back, but a desperate Vera decides to intervene by canceling Trudy's real appointment and asking someone to pretend to be her doctor. Fabian sees Victor playing senet. Alfie and Amber decide to spy on her and the doctor and find out that the "doctor" placed fake memories into Trudy's head and that Vera wants to do the same to Sibuna. Meanwhile, Joy tries to get to grips with the Senet Task at the library when a secret man who was Trudy's doctor visits Jasper and takes off his mask...

As Mara gathers evidence against Vera, Sibuna completes the web task after Fabian puts the larger spider in its place. They move on to the next task where they must follow the clues on the wall and pick the right liquids and pour them into six different tubes on a lion's head, which will free the glue stuck to the door into the next tunnel.
