Four Baywatch lifeguards go to San Diego to demonstrate the usage of the scarabs and waverunners to lifeguards in that area. However, Hotel Del Coronado, where they stay, has a legend of a ghost haunting its hallways that Summer experiences. Mitch tries to save his brother, who suffers a heart attack and falls overboard from their sailboat.

The reunion of The Red Knights, an elite group of lifeguards from the 1950s, stirs up painful memories for Ben and prompts him to resign from Baywatch.
