When a boy on a school trip sees the Penguins in action, the team scrambles into action to steal his notebook; meanwhile, Julien attempts to form his own team to claim his old backscratcher from the museum.

Disappointed at Skipper's refusal to allow him to use his explosive talents, Rico begins working for King Julien as a demolitions expert, but the new lack of restraint imposed by the other penguins results in Rico destroying Julien's habitat before he is contained.
