In season four, Cassie and Sam are newly engaged and slowly work on wedding plans while trying to subtly help Grace and Nick mend their friendship before tying the knot and blending their families. Cassie continues to impact the lives of her guests at Grey House and works her special brand of magic with those closest to her as well. Abigail is forced to face her past when her long-absent father unexpectedly returns to Middleton. Grace's senior year of high school finds her uncertain about plans for college and brings a bittersweet lesson about life and love.
