However, Huw doesn't reveal this, and as Jenny grows suspicious of Huw's intentions, he quietly manoeuvres to have her removed from the operation. Margot begs Huw to stop, but he refuses.

Armed with Margot's most private thoughts, Patrick weaponises her fears. When Margot learns that Huw has secretly visited Patrick in prison again, she explodes - convinced Huw is feeding Patrick's power and even arranging for someone to stalk her.

Hunted and running out of time, Huw tracks Patrick to the abandoned farmhouse, where a devastating truth is revealed and Patrick delivers his final, cruel masterstroke.

Retreating with his wife Alice to an isolated house by the sea, Huw is determined to rebuild a quiet life, far from the violence that nearly destroyed them. But peace, he soon realises, is an illusion.
