The comedian sets out to discover the Channel Islands, which are just a few miles from the French coast. She arrives in Jersey at peak Jersey Royal potato season, and encounters iconic doe-eyed local cows. Susan also meets a sixth-generation farmer, and learns about the traditional art of potato harvesting on the slopes of Rozel Bay.

The comedian explores the West Yorkshire Valleys, beginning in Keighley, and also visits Holmfirth, best known for being the setting of sitcom classic Last of the Summer Wine. Susan then heads to the rugged Ilkley Moor, and in the charming village of Upperthong, she investigates the sport of welly wanging. Last stop is York, where she visits the National Railway Museum.
