Guided by Hallan's ancient key, Roo, Umba, and Metric enter a treacherous stone maze to retrieve the Formoire Core Stone, facing shape-shifting dangers and testing their trust.

The teens find the Hyper Gate, but a swarm of deadly centipedes threatens their escape - forcing Roo to choose between going home alone or staying loyal to his friends.
