Halle is secretly the world's biggest fan of a sci-fi western tv show called Space Cowboy alongside her best friend Jessie. The two girls are outcasts, on the periphery of the social scene at Attaway High, but they don't mind because they have each other. At least, that's how it used to be until Halle saw an opportunity to finally break in with the popular girls. Torn between loyalty and popularity, she doesn't always get it right, and must learn to stand up for herself and the people she loves.
