When Gomer learns that he was selected to take the Colonel's visiting daughter to an important dance, he starts to panic. Meanwhile, the Colonel's wife is less than thrilled that a fast talking "country boy" will be escorting her respectable daughter, she attempts to lay down a few ground rules that Gomer tries his best to follow.
