Sean's mother Lorna tries to constantly take care of Sean and Ellie. Sean's friend Liz also helps the father and daughter, which leads to a competition as to who does a better job.

Lorna has a difficult time learning how to use a smart-cell phone. At work, Max's father Lee visits, which causes more problems for Sean and the other employees. Lee is interested in Lorna, so Sean sets them up on a date.
