Stephen (Ben Chaplin) is waiting for Mia (Oona Chaplin) to turn up for a naughty afternoon in a London hotel. But as he waits and waits, Stephen starts to wonder if he's been stood up. He finds himself on a surprising and unexpected journey towards self-discovery, aided by a straight-talking stranger.

Mia (Oona Chaplin) is finding herself in the awkward position of actually being in a relationship with David (Will Mellor). On the day when she is supposed to go and meet his children, events take an awkward turn and she is forced to finally confront the gap in her life which she is trying to fill.
