Jak is in the driving seat for a crash course on passing his driving test with his slightly nervous dad Shaun. Caitlin is forced into being chauffeured again after someone bumped into her own car and, even though Jack is still a passenger, he's still given endless driving advice by his dad Andy.

Caitlin is keen to move out of the family home with her boyfriend Billy, but parents Martin and Petra aren't convinced that she has the domestic skills to survive. Lenny ponders following his dad's footsteps to join the army and Josh leaves for university, if only his distraught mum Lisa can find the campus.
