Pablito Esteban, a nine-year-old boy with miraculous healing powers, heals a friend of Ironside's and the team set out to determine if the boy's powers are real.

Ironside has Mark take him for a visit to his old precinct house. When a blackout hits the area, Ironside ends up in charge and working with his old parnter, Dave Spangler.
