The opener of a three-part drama on Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun's reign finds young Tut trying to wrest control of his kingdom while eliminating those who conspire against him.

Tut sets out to achieve total victory against the Mitanni, and must destroy the last of his enemies within the palace to secure his place in history.
