The former Chicago police officers receive a crash course in ancient Hawaiian customs during an island investigation in which "an ancient icon" predicts their doom. 

The arrival of Mac's mother (Shelley Winters) only compounds the troubles for the two detectives who must contend with prostitute Cookie Fondue (Donna Dixon), the sole witness to a murder.
