Catalina returns from boarding school as a new woman — kind, considerate, and more mature. Or so she wants people to believe, because in reality she remains a despot toward Renata and Clara, whom she wants to take revenge on for her exile. Catalina's false attitude is merely a strategy to win over her mother and obtain permission to return to Cuba. However, that will not be necessary for her to reunite with José, her fiancé, who arrives in Punta do Bico to carry out Gustavo's plans. Meanwhile, Clara suffers from Celso's absence.
