The Fisher household has a new wireless but there's a murder on the airwaves. Dot comes to the realisation that she doesn't want to give up her job with Miss Fisher after she gets married.

Phryne, Dot and Dr Mac go with Aunt Prudence to a chalet to celebrate Christmas. After they show up though they discover one of the residents dead and soon the body count begins to increase.
