A documentary filmmaker (Ron Livingston) recalls the life and work of his idealistic, genius brother (Henry Thomas), whose cure-all experiment to end global violence, war and mayhem turns horribly wrong.

A released convict (Jeremy Sisto) is told by his dying friend of a four-part map that details the location of $3.5 million from a robbery. With one quarter of the map in hand, he goes on a violent odyssey to find the three remaining sections.
