Alicia sleeps with Santiago, her best friend's ex-husband. Quintero questions Julia about her relationship with Cristóbal. Kimberly invites her friend to share Cristóbal with her, but Cristóbal balks. Matías relies on the antidepressants that Quintero gave him, but the pills are running out. Becoming increasingly paranoid and erratic, Quintero has extreme sex with a patient in the surgery room.

Quintero clashes with Cristóbal and Santiago over a delicate face transplantation. When Santiago finds a dead fetus in a patient's uterus, she begs him not to tell her sterile husband. Meanwhile, Alicia finds out she has a serious illness. And Angelica returns for a spa visit, making Julia tense. Later, Julia and Matías find out that Angelica's airplane leaving town crashed with no survivors.
