Kiyoto Takamiya was conducting research and development on E4 at Half-Dragon. Lord Starfall, who had been funded by the organization, was repeatedly conducting adaptation experiments on E4 within the castle. Furthermore, Yashiro learns about the shocking incident that befell Jogamine seven years ago. Upon returning to Tokyo, Yashiro and his group landed in a city that had become a battlefield. With Lord Stormcoffin gone, other demon lords seeking to expand their power were starting conflicts one after another. Yashiro tells his disciples, "Now's the time to make some money."

Unable to use E3, Yashiro continues to flee, severely exhausted. She escapes into a park with Jogamine and Sera, but they are caught up with by Tomoe and Seki. They had been ordered to capture Yashiro and the others alive. Jogamine confronts Tomoe, and Sera confronts Seki, but Jogamine is seriously injured while trying to protect Yashiro from the pursuing dogs that have reappeared. Just as the heroes are cornered, Levi appears before them.
