Officer Olivia makes arrangements to take Mauricio far away from Miami. He manages to get in touch with Miranda and asks her to come see him. His mother wants the tutor to help him with the scholarship.

El Indio tracks down the place where Mauricio and Miranda were staying, but doesn't find them and kills the guards who were protecting them. Officer Olivia arrives at the scene and believes that El Indio kidnapped them.
