The third edition of the $1 million race around the world begins in Miami, as the 12 teams of two learn of their first destination: Mexico City. There they must choose between skydiving and donkey-cart racing, and the first team is eliminated.

The teams travel to Scotland and participate in traditional Scottish games to avoid elimination. Also, an alliance develops among several teams in order to oust one specific duo, and two teams miss a crucial airline connection.
