In the heart of the Australian desert, Alice and Lloyd come across a herd of wild horses. During a walk through a canyon, they spot well-camouflaged rock-wallabies. They are going to work at a sanctuary that protects desert animals.

Lloyd and Alice visit a family that rescues baby kangaroos. They bottle-feed Steeve, their first red kangaroo, while an overexcited wallaby bounds all over the house. Alice has to protect the team from an overly curious emu.
