After successfully getting rid of Jae-seong, Jae-gyeong sets Managing Director Lee up and accuses him of trying to take over Choiseong. She calls an emergency board meeting and makes Bang-geul and Jun-hyeon fire 20 percent of the staff. In the meantime, she also makes a secret deal with Chairman Na.

Jae-gyeong finds herself on the verge of losing the Daesan Hydrogen Complex to Chairman Na under highly unfavourable terms. Realising that Jae-gyeong is being blackmailed by Chairman Na, Yong-ho pretends to join forces with Chairman Na and ultimately discovers that Jae-gyeong was not the one who killed him.
