After being hit with a devastating wrinkle in his custody case, a desperate Filip goes on the run with Tosia with help from his neighbor. Meanwhile, his case and issues surrounding the rights of gay parents make national news.

Filip takes Tosia to meet her paternal grandmother, Olga, and inadvertently opens a wormhole of complications between the two families. Then, Filip braces himself as Tosia's case is put in front of a judge.
