If there is a legendary fish—capable of reaching weights of over 500 kilograms and accelerating to nearly 80 km/h—it is the marlin; and that is precisely the fish Cyril came to seek on Costa Rica's Pacific coast.

Cyril has heard unsettling stories about people being accidentally injured or even killed by the massive leaps of Gulf sturgeon. Its even larger cousin, the white sturgeon, is the largest freshwater fish in North America.
