Rico and Roy head to the forest where Corsa encountered a black Rayquaza. Molly becomes interested and joins them. Along the way, the three see the horrific aftermath of a forest fire, but their destination remains largely untouched. Rico and the others begin searching for Rayquaza, but soon the three become separated. Meanwhile, Oliva, who lives in the forest, also makes a move…!?

They're finally off to the Galar region where Riko's grandmother lives! ...Or so they thought, but a problem occurs with the airship's control system. While waiting for the system to be fixed, the Rising Volteckers decide to have a picnic. Riko enjoys making sandwiches with her friends, but she can't help but worry about Dot who's still on the airship...
