There was a murder in the studio of a professional expert - appraiser Boris Druyan. Druyan himself was killed and the director of the art museum Anna Khaletskaya was hanged. In the course of the investigation, it becomes clear that this is not a classic murder and suicide, but a double murder in order to disguise a major fraud in the field of art.
