The show begins with a twist: the models choose their designers. After that, the models continue to drive the challenge as each one chooses a Fashion Icon for their designer must create a look for.

 Eight designers remain. Heidi tells the designers they will be creating a look for an "everyday woman," and they are shocked to discover that the models are their mothers and sisters. The twist: Designers will not be able to work with their own family member, but must choose someone else as their model. In the end, one designer is eliminated and seven remain.
