The Recruits keep failing a fire rescue simulation, until they realize that on earth, even the tiny living things play a huge part.

At his teammates' urging, Hoist invents some new "cool tools" to improve their rescue abilities. But they fail specactularly, leaving Hoist feeling awful, until Boulde teaches him not to give up.
