The Straw Hats meet the legendary pirate Gold Lion Shiki and are taken to his base island, which is full of mutated animals. But Shiki has plans to conquer the world with the animals. When he kidnaps Nami for her navigational skills, Luffy and the others launch a rescue mission. 

Whitebeard aims to take down the whole of Marineford and orders his crew and the other pirates to flee.
