Stephen Mangan presents highlights of the 11th series of the competition in which artists were challenged to capture the views at locations around the UK.
The programme follows the winner of this year's competition as they travel to Co Mayo to research their £10,000 prize commission for the National Gallery of Ireland.
Landscape Artist of the Year returns for its eleventh competition, taking place across a range of stunning and historically rich UK locations, offering artists captivating new scenes to interpret. This year's filming locations include Dover Castle in Kent, The Lake District in Cumbria, The Thames from HMS Wellington in London, The Ouse Valley Viaduct in Sussex and The Falkirk Wheel in Scotland.
The series will also see the addition of Eva Langret, Director of Frieze London, to our panel of judges as she takes over from the departing Kate Bryan. Known for her sharp critical eye and commitment to platforming underrepresented voices in the art world, she joins long-standing judges Tai Shan Schierenberg and Kathleen Soriano, while Stephen Mangan returns to take on hosting duties.
