It is the spookiest event in the Strictly Come Dancing calendar as this year's Halloween special sees the return of spiders, witches, broomsticks and ghosts to the Strictly ballroom. If the celebrities thought the dance floor was scary before, they are in for an even bigger fright tonight! Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present what promises to be a spine-tingling show, and the remaining eleven couples enter into the spirit of Halloween. Deciding who has cast the best spell of the evening are judges Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, who will score the remaining couples. Lines open at the end of the show, when viewers can vote for their favourite.

Week 5 Results

After last night's amazing performances, it's time for Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman to reveal the two couples with the lowest combined scores from the judges and the public vote.

Then it's down to business as the bottom two dancing duos take to the famous ballroom floor to dance for survival. Which couple will Shirley, Darcey, Bruno and Craig save, and who will leave the competition?

The remaining 11 couples will go forward to next weekend for the spook-tacular Strictly Halloween special. This weekend's musical performance comes from Irish rock band The Script and the judges will once again be putting Saturday night's routines under the microscope.

Week 6 Results

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman reveal the results of the frighteningly fabulous Halloween special. Ballroom bigwigs Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood have cast their votes, which have been added to the viewers' votes, and now the two couples with the lowest combined votes face each other in the dance-off. Then it is down to the judges to cast their spells and decide who stays and which couple will leave the competition for good. There is music from British dance pop group Steps, and the judges sit down with Claudia once again for a debrief of Saturday night's performances.
