Dancing to keep their place in the competition, our couples return to the Strictly ballroom. This week, they must impress not only the judges but also the viewers at home, as they face the first public vote. One couple will leave the competition this weekend, and as no-one wants to fall at the first hurdle, the dancing will be fierce.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host as our Strictly Come Dancing stars of 2021 dance live for the very first time. With their paddles at the ready are judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke.

No-one leaves the competition tonight, but the judges' scores will be carried over to next week when the viewers will have the chance to vote for their favourite couple

Week 2 Results

Opening the first results show of the series, singer Tom Grennan joins our Strictly professionals for a group routine set in a western saloon. It wouldn't be a results show without a dance-off, and tonight two couples go head-to-head to save their place in the competition. Not only that, but singer-songwriter Griff will be in the ballroom to perform her new single.

Who will impress the judges, and who will be the first to leave?
