In Season 8 Brian and Sophie crash-land their spaceship by the sea on Earth and, after their memories of their previous foster children are mysteriously wiped, they take in a new family of four siblings called the Bennetts. As the Bennett kids try to cope with their odd new guardians and keep their alien nature under wraps, Brian and Sophie blunder through everyday life with plenty of humour, strange misunderstandings and family antics.
