Derek and Kristin head to a small town to investigate several mysterious deaths by strangulation. The spirit of a woman wrongly hanged for murder seeks revenge on those responsible.

Sensing that her granddaughter, Alex, may be in danger, Rose Moreau travels from Baton Rouge to San Francisco to give her a protective medallion to wear. Rose suddenly takes ill and is admitted to a hospital, but doctors are unable to help her.
