Apple and Onion accidentally get invited to Hot Dog's party. The duo are excited, specifically Onion as he wants to get close with French Fry, but when Burger tries to dissuade them by saying it is a fancy party, they decide that they need to grow up which somehow lands them in jail.

During a computer game-playing session, "perfect team" Apple and Onion find themselves with a new roommate pawing at their window: a cat. It loves to roost upon Apple's head, but seems to hate Onion because of his hair; causing tension between who spends more time with Apple.
