Gary is on top of the world, but pride comes before a fall, or in Gary's case, several falls. Meanwhile, after taking some seemingly sound advice from Gary, Ron's marriage hits an all-time low.

Mr. Wix puts in an appearance at the Royal Oak and tries to convince Gary to sell a Beatles song which Gary claims to have written to his newest client, George Formby. Knowing he can't let that happen, Gary must find a way to protect history without upsetting Phoebe.
