The the death of a patient, Charlie is scared that he will be found responsible for the death and being struck off. Otto attends a complicated birth at a hospital in Dorset. A fundraiser and a beauty pageant at the hospital manages to bring everybodye together. Reluctant nurses end up agreeing to parade in their swimwear whilst raucous doctors jeer. Elizabeth is determined to keep her troubles with Mulligan from Otto, Richard and Jean as she puts on a brave face.
