Dean investigates a series of mysterious cattle mutilations and murders, and finds himself going up against another Hunter whose actions make Dean question his own.

When two Hunters turn up dead, Sam and Dean team up with a third Hunter, Bobby, to learn if the killings are connected to John and to put a stop to them.
