When a talented young athlete dies while competing in a swimming championship, everyone is shocked that his death was caused by a reaction to ephedrine, an illegal substance. Inspector Rivera and his team are called in to find out if the young swimmer took the substance of his own accord or whether he was the victim of foul play.

After a raging night at a disco, Marco and his mates return to his car where they find the body of Marco's murdered father in the boot. Inspector Rivera and his team are called in for the usual investigation, but while Marco is the prime suspect, somehow things don't quite add up.
