GPs now spend around 20% of their week consulting on joint related symptoms for patients.
The doctors of Hall Green Health come face to face with some rare conditions. First up is regular elderly patient Catherine, who is in to see Dr Aireen Razak about her dizziness and balance issues, which recently caused a fall. This looks like a case of vertigo, but seven years ago, Catherine was diagnosed with a neurological condition called Guillain-Barré syndrome, and it may be flaring up. Dr Sonia Ashraf meets a lady who recently had an operation to remove an ectopic pregnancy, and has been struggling to get pregnant ever since. She also had one of her ovaries removed, and has been diagnosed with endometriosis.
At Hall Green Health Centre the doctors see patients struggling to manage their weight.
