Host John Barrowman welcomes Fern Britton, Ben Miller, Gyles Brandreth, Anita Rani, Catherine Tyldesley and Radzi Chinyanganya. They'll embark on a musical theatre masterclass, each hoping to steal the show with their performance and be voted All Star Musicals Champion. Equipped with mentoring from the returning panel, Elaine Paige, Samantha Barks and Trevor Dion Nicholas, the celebrities will be supported by a West End ensemble, an orchestra, and, in the lead-up to their big performance, also receive training from West End choreographers and vocal coaches.
John Barrowman is back as the show's host with Elaine Paige heading up a panel of critics with a distinguished history in the West End and on Broadway. Joining Elaine on the panel will be returning Trevor Dion Nicholas (Hamilton, Aladdin) and Samantha Barks (Les Miserables, Frozen).
Actress Jessica Hynes, barrister and broadcaster Robert Rinder, actor Barney Walsh, political journalist Robert Peston, doctor and presenter Dr Ranj Singh, and actress Luisa Bradshaw-White who will all be aiming to impress the star panel and virtual audience.
All Star Musicals confirms its line up of seven celebrities, all of whom will be taking to the stage at the London Palladium to perform an iconic musical theatre number.
Broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh, money expert Martin Lewis, Only Fools and Horses actress Tessa Peake Jones, I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp host Joel Dommett, comedian London Hughes, Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank and Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh, will be aiming to impress the audience and the star panel, all of whom will be judging them based on their performing credentials.
Each of the celebrities will be mentored by Elaine Paige as they prepare to embark on this once in a lifetime performance. Elaine Paige will be joined by Broadway icon, Tony and Emmy winner Kristin Chenoweth, dance sensation Kevin Clifton and West End star Trevor Dion Nicholas.
After each performance, the panel will aware the celebrities a score and at the end of the night, these scores are combined with the studio audience vote to crown one celebrity the All Star Musicals champion.
