Months after the pandemic, Andrea's ward is reopened but someone is missing: Lorenzo is no longer there since he died in March 2020 due to COVID-19. Andrea left the ward to visit elderly people outside the hospital, occasionally helped by Riccardo. The hospitalization of Giacomo, a health worker, after what appears to be a hysterical attack is the first case under the direction of the new Chief.
